HVAC Refrigeration Technician / Tradesman
Location: Charlottesville, Virginia
We are seeking a strong skilled HVAC and Refrigeration Technician or Tradesman to join our team and existing customers to provide the highest standards of service. Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, including Commercial, Residential, and refrigeration systems.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to diagnose reported issues and make repairs, utilizing technical knowledge and expertise.
- Repair and replace faulty components, ensuring all work is completed to code and safety standards.
- Monitor and document maintenance activities, keeping accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Conduct routine inspections and assessments of mechanical systems, identifying maintenance needs and potential issues.
- Work with other maintenance team members and contractors to tackle complex projects and complete tasks on time.
- Trade Skills
- Skilled in using hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
- Solid knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and follow instruction manuals and search manufacturers websites for technical information.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety.
- Accurate and detailed communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or vocational training in building maintenance are a plus.
